Música is a 2024 American coming-of-age romantic comedy film starring and directed by Rudy Mancuso in his feature film directorial debut. Mancuso also co-wrote the screenplay with Dan Lagana and composed the film’s original soundtrack. Camila Mendes and J.B. Smoove co-star.
Música had its world premiere at South by Southwest on March 13, 2024, and was released by Amazon Prime Video on April 4, 2024.
Premise[edit]
A young man, plagued by the music in his head, has to come to terms with an uncertain future while balancing love, family and Brazilian culture in Newark, New Jersey.

In April 2022, it was announced that a romantic comedy film written and directed by Rudy Mancuso titled Música was in development, with Mancuso, Camila Mendes, J.B. Smoove, Francesca Reale, and Maria Mancuso rounding out the cast.
