Griselda is an American biographical crime drama streaming television miniseries directed by Andrés Baiz and produced by Eric Newman and SofÃa Vergara. It is written by Doug Miro and Ingrid Escajeda. It stars Vergara as Griselda Blanco, a notorious Colombian drug lord. The miniseries premiered on Netflix on January 25, 2024,[2] to generally positive critical reviews, with praise going towards Vergara's performance.

In the Netflix series Griselda, we follow the intense life of Griselda Blanco, a Colombian drug lord. The story unfolds as she initially enters the drug business to support her family but gets entangled in greed and ruthlessness. The series explores Griselda's downfall, triggered by betrayal and paranoia within her gang.
As the narrative progresses, Griselda faces challenges, including the arrest that separates her from her children. The plot thickens with a staged kidnapping, arrests, and a web of deception. Amidst it all, Griselda's right hand, Rivi, plays a pivotal role.
The series takes a tragic turn when Griselda learns about the murder of her three sons. After serving a brief prison sentence, she returns to a quiet life in Medellin, only to meet her demise at the age of 69.
